Continuous mode was great this weekend. I went to the upper bleachers and followed my nephew for his full race. I took about 200 shots of the 200 fly; most were junk (some because I lost track of him).

I used "Sports" scene mode which gave me ASA 80, 1/320 sec, f 3.3 @ 12x zoom. I also had my linear polarizer in place. This post was cropped a bit, USM, & levels adjusted.

I liked how this shot came out with the color of the lane pennants as well as his hand position.

It's very nice. Do you think maybe 1/2 stop too hot? It's in acceptable range to my eye but what's your thoughts?

It was a full sun day so things were bright. I did adjust down 1 EV to help things out. I have been playing around with the image, adjusting lightness, hue, & saturation. Some of those attempts have given a bluer water, the pennants were bleach out from exposure to the sun so they were pale.

Thanks
