Been waiting for this all winter

It was the 'worst' snow in 20 years, and crippled the traffic quite badly. Up in the north, the layer got asthick as 50 cm. Lot's of cars accidents;Amsterdam airport Schiphol was closed for a while, lot's of cancelled flights (also due to the weatherat thedestinations), etc. With my job in the departure halls of the airport, it was very interesting to experience the chaos from nearby.

(un)fortunately, the magic white has all melted by now. Here's some white:

Exif available with the pictures; Color editing done in PS, with optic verve lab's Virtual Photographer plug in

Flashback

-It would have been perfect if some person was walking down the track; By looking at this image, it felt like some sort of memory from long ago. The person that should have been in the picture would have been some long lost friendship, maybe dead?

I've blurred the track a bit, to give it the mystic look

..and a picture of my direct neighborhood, taken at dusk. The heavy clouds caused almost no attractive dusk colors, but pushing the saturation to 15 helped a bit.

Cheers! GB
