Very nice series. Call me different but, I actually was drawn to the fourth shot because the lighting was unique. I think the choice was an interesting one. It may be a bit extreme but having said that. No risk, no gain right?
You took another excellent "bug" picture and tried to make it more. I applaud the effort.

Keep experimenting, I for one enjoy seeing people stretch the envelope.

Thanks for the comments guys.

With the lighting in 4 I figured i already had some nice looking photos lets try something new and to be honest I really like the result.
Experimenting is a great thing, if it fails you lose nothing and if I works you may have learnt a new technique. I cant see how it can ever be a bad thing to try something new. But that is of course just my opinion.
