OBTW... these were all taken with the Raynox DCR 720 WA adapter. The first was at full wide, the last two were at 6 or 7X (forget) zoom? Last two also used the Lumiquest diffuser... First was handheld, no flash (actually taken on a different day...)

Indoors. Ficus would not survive outside in March in your climate. Nice shot.

Cripes... foiled by the ficas. Good eye. Used the gold insert with the Lumiquest Pro System and the diffuser.

If the gold insert gives a warm cast, for skin tones? What do you use the silver for?

You're correct about the gold. It's also good as a fill light outdoors with the flash powered down a bit. The silver is for specular highlights and catch lights - that is, create a sharper, more sparkling light. I might use this at a wedding reception where there is a lot of silverware and glass for "sparkles.
