HI tchuanye,

Cool photos, I love those damsel flies as their eyes are so weird and funky. The focus and detail is great but im not a fan of the cropping on the first. The third is my favourite. I noticed that you have used 1/160s exposure time, when I try and use those setting in Manual mode my EVF goes too dark for me to see it. How do you avoid this issue?

Treemonkey
Well, I tend to crop up parts that distract the viewer, hence the cropping of the first one.

The EVF is always an issue, but the sun was out, and it allowed me to work at faster shutter speeds.....

I guess by using the manual focus this issue can be avoided till you focus properly the object, because once you've pressed the shutterrelease, the EVF goes toodark......hope this helps.....at least, it is what I do.

Regards,

Great

The first and especially the third!
Mastodontic shots, Tchuanye.

- Which PP and NR softwares do you use?
- How long it took you before achieving an acceptable rate of keep-shots in dipotered macro?

I am using PS7, and neatimage.
Don't really understand your 2nd question though, my first post was in Sept 04 (http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...12&forum_id=23), and those were my first attempts. Not sure if you are referring to them?
