I'm sorry beer, but you're wrong dude. Here is the Panasonic site. The FZ15 is 36mm-432mm. Check it out and next know what you're talking about next time.

nooner is right, the two are same zoom. I don't know where beernutz got his info, but it's wrong. Lovelife are you sure about the infinity focus? It doesn't make sense to me.

I was referring more to the zoom range then the camera. Itt was the FZ10 that had 35mm to 420mm.

Not 100%, I remember reading some articles when the FZ15 and FZ20 were released and this was discussed. The offset adjustment was a compromise between more wide angle and infinity focus.

The intial question was about the FZ15 and FZ20. It's a drag when people start posting without knowing what the subject is and like beer give out misinformation. Just confuses the discussion.

Go to that link, click on 'Technical Specs' and tell me what it says under focal length. Now look at what I originally posted.

Now dude, you tell me who is right and who is wrong.

And Redhouse maybe YOU should actually put your money where your mouth is BEFORE spouting off about misinformation.

Apologies accepted at any time.

Really, care to share the source of YOUR info? Here I'll do your homework for you.

Look at the focal length spec here for the FZ-20: http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...Category=Lumix®

And here for the FZ-15: http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs...Category=Lumix®

Do you still maintain I'm wrong? The line for mea culpas starts at the rear.

Honestly, I think some people here are so full of themselves it is funny.

Sorry Dynamo, but the Panasonic clearly states that the two do not have the same 35mm equivalent lenses.

FZ-20

f=6.0-72mm (35mm equivalent: 36-432mm)

FZ-15
