Austin's Townlake was the site for a National Rowing competition this weekend. Action shots on reflective water can be tough to photograph.:?

Nice Austin, you've captured both the action as well as the serenity in the various shots. Besides that, looks like a lot of fun on a great sunny day!

Austin is a great place to live. Really nice weather most of the year and lots to do outdoors. This month is very full with things like the rowing as well as the South by Southwest Music and Film festival. Musicians and film makers from around the planet descend on this city each March. Not a hotel room to be had in the place!

I especially like the one of just the boat (on land) I would have liked to see the tip of it as well though!

Action shots are tough -- I tried a hockey game last week but don't even want to post them because... well...... blah!!!
