I do not know how to word it but i will; try

When you have taken about 30 to 40 pictures do you put your number in the camera

at zero what i mean do you reset each time?

and how do you do it to reset it to zero or better how do you fromat it back to zero



please advise thanks :sad:

I erase the pictures as I transfer them to the computer (it is an option in the transfer software.) Sometimes I erase them after I know they've been transferred properly. As far as the 'count', I let it continue on. I believe you can reset the count, but then you'd have to rename all your pictures on the computer so as not to save new pictures over old. Your manual should expound on all of this.

i usualy fill my 512 meg sd card with as many as possible then i download to a folder which i rename to the days date of downloading ...then i format the card ..i keep individual folders for each time i down load to avoid confusion or getting pics mix up with each other

I do a simliar procedure as jazzmaster. I create a folder with the date first then the subject of the photos. I also try to do this for pretty much every file on my computer, Word, Excel, webpages. (the key word is TRY!) -- but when it comes to my photos, I like the indivual folder system.
