The focus is a little soft for my liking but I love the subjects.
Keep them coming.

Both have highlight washout in them.. I have that problem and don't like it myself until I get it right I won't post much anymore but I like to see what others post and learn from that.

The shots are excellent otherwise and I don't see them as soft at all.

Stoney79 you post very good work and subjects.

I think both are excellent. #2 is my favorite. Really like the head-on shot.

Can someone please send me a ladybug so I can photograph it? We don't have them down here and I'm a little jealous. I will gladly send you a cockroach in return as we have plenty of those - and will throw in a bag of mosquitoes for free.

Nice shots Stoney79! Keep them coming.

Ladybirds are not easy to take. I have tried a couple of times, but could not get it right. The difficulty is getting the eyes in focus. As the red wings are more prominent, we tend to focus on that, and the EVF image looks great, until viewing it on the PC, and I find the eyes off focus. I guess have to take many to get it right......

That's right. I took many pictures and they were mostly unusable.

That's not quite a problem here. We currentlyhave many of them, so it's easy to find one. I could take hundreds of pictures. :?
