This pic was taken with no zoom.

Somewhere in the marked area is a red brick house.

The bluish tint colour is because I was in the blue mountains and is a result of the evaporation of moisture in the Gum tree leaves

The pic below was taken at 12X zoom

The pic below was taken at maximum zoom with the DMW-LTZ10 telelens installed.

Cheers

Good example. Would like to have seen a shot with 12x zoom to compare.

Wow....! I was really going to put off buying a teleconvertor for a couple months but look what i would have been missing. The picture quality is about what i'd expect from any teleconvertor, actually "no" it looks better than i would have expected..

How far back can you bring the zoom before you get the all too familiar shadows in the corner? Thats my biggest holdup. I have read different reviews and i cant quite make up my mind on which brand.

Thanks for the comparison though ..

And yes do you have the same shot with the cameras lens to 12X?

Thanks

Rearranged the pictures and also added a 12X zoom shot.

first pic is no zoom

second pic is 12X zoom

third pic is 18X zoom

No digital zoom was used.

Also the pics are not post processed and not cropped what I had before.

Cheers

To Dntouch:

In the menu under conversion if you set this to Tele then the zoom doesn't go under 6X. (Range goes from 6X to 12X meaning 6x1.5=9 to 12x1.5=18

If you leave the conversion setting set to off then vignetting starts pretty much when you go below 6X zoom.

Cheers
