No chance of getting out and about for the last 4-5 days before I start the new job because I've been doing some serious DIY. So far destroying everything's been easy but putting the new kitchen units in which needed heavy modifying has been stressful. So I took 5 mins out yesterday and took a few pic's I've converted 2 into B&W and the third's just simply had a wee USM and crop.

Amazing how black and white brings out so much character in something you might otherwise pass right by. Love the tool shots, now let's see the renovation.

Congrats on the job Harj - I agree with SGB on the tools photos - somehow they are much more interesting in B&W.

SGB & Suze

I've got kind of addicted to B&W - the tools in colour looked ok, but when I converted to B&W they were just transformed. Just a magical quality about B&W that I can't put words to. Have to thank Nick as I would have never tried shooting in B&W or changing in Photoshop until I saw some of his pics on the site.
