jahsh.......if your shot was cropped to reduce the amount of sky it would look better. No need to have lots of open sky in that pic. As you can see a lot folks here are more interested in showing hokey Photoshop hacks or their own mediocre pics than helping you, but don't give up. Now and then you may find something that will help you to get better.

hmm,

Hacks. Nice of you to call anyone learning or actually having what is truly a jest a bit on the well ....

I just got back to reading his post after all I did was "Hack" out his picture. I did mention all that I did and nothing more. Yes cropping the sky would give the picture more visual appeal.

Rude on brother!

I think it's important to look at doing things both ways.

1) Being able to use photoshop to its full potential.

2) Working with what you have, and resizing/cropping to make the best of it.

As for just cropping more of the sky out of the daisy picture, would doing the 2/3-1/3 trick be recommended, or cut out even more?
