Here are a few pics from various days.

The first was in Santa Cruz, California-USA. It was all luck, cause I had it on "P", and the sun was making it diffecult to see.

I think this next one might be a bit bright, and not framed well, but it still seems like the best in the bunch, all the others you can see my shadow on the flowers.

The next is just a close up shot of the purple flower. I like the purple tones the FZ gives alot so far.

And lastly, this is full zoom and croped a bit, getting really close to some clouds.

Any opinions on how to improve?

I like number two, but get rid of the lamps in the background - move'em, kill'em, destroy, whatever...

Yes. I tried to improve it. First, I corrected the white balance (a bit more blue), then I increased the contrast. Here is what came out:

P.S.: I'd like to see the first picture uncropped. Givethe birdmore room.

A quick redo on one of your shots... all distractions were removed... will be going to Sacto in May had to scratch previous plans of being there now... just a visit and some shooting at the refuge that samc posts from... and Tahoe... former 17 year resident of the Golden Bear State... miss it as most frequent posters know...

I think they're great, if it's a first effort. You have a very good eye. Keep shooting and you'll be amazed when you look back at the early pics and see how much you've learned. Great piece of equipment, huh?

So to remove the unwanted objects in the daisy picture, since the sky has such random coloring, how do you fill the empty space?
