I drove into the Sierra foothills 4miles and took these pictures after I shot the wildflowers. This first shot is looking northeast.

These next two are looking south towards Sacramento. The small set of mountains are in the middle of the Sacramento Valley. They are the Sutter Buttes. A nearly circular set of Buttes that are about 25 miles across and 3500 feet high. The first pictures was taken with 6X optical zoom. The Second picture was taken at 12X optical zoom.

12X Zoom the Buttes are about 30 miles south.

Interesting how clouds add such depth to a photo. At least to my eye anyway. Good shots. :-)
