A late summer storm came thru the Sth East Queensland late last night, taking these kind of photos you sure do need a high-speed card, missed so many shots, but happy with what I got just a couple here.

nice hazza!Sadly, wedon't get much lightning in the UK - only the rain :G. Great captures - I swear I can see a face in the cloudon the second pic (upper right quadrant) Possibly a levels adjustment would bring up more graduation in the clouds, but it also may lessen the menacing look about them. Personal preference I guess.

Hi Suze, I've just got in from the storm chasing and was so excited that I had got what I did, just quickly got up here....way pass by bed time 12 midnight here.......I think there is a face there too........maybe an old friend looking down on me.

Cool stuff. I have tried to take some lightning before but it didnt go to well. Do you mind sharing your settings?
