I was not totally pleased with how this one came out.But that's why comments are welcome and will help me to improve.

nice composition, but looks like you need a flash diffuser to give you more even light without the 'hot spots'. the shadows are a bit dark for my taste, but that's a personal preference...

Squirl & RedHouse. Thank you for your constructive criticism. I agree with you. I was not at all pleased with the lighting outcome. I did not use a flash, ratherI used a halogen desk lamp with the tungsten setting for the white balance. I haven't had the camera long enough for me to feel comfortable to experiment beyond this point and don't yet have an external flash.. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you for the chapeau. Not to be picky, but I prefer DIY chapeaus made from various cameras and camera accessories, m'self.

A diffuser fo' da flash goes a loooooooooooooooong way for improving the lighting on these kind of shots. Terrific composition, as stated by all.
