Still not much happening in the way of pic opportunities yet. Decided to put the TCON14B on just to try it out this morning.

The above is light and untouched? Not an overly sunny day at all. It was shot in auto mode, wonder why so light? This one is same pic touched up with Picasa2.

Try exposure bias -1/3. Did you use a step ring?

bumbiebee, will try some more shots with your recommendation. No step ring-screwed right on to adapter.. Thanks, Gerry

I almost always shoot at a minus exposure. But the histogram looked pretty good for that picture. The only thing I did to this version was raise the contrast a bit and sharpen very little so maybe you may want to boost those settings.

genece, nice job! When you say that you "always" shoot at minus exposure are you talking about with the TCON14B or with the camera in general? Thanks, Gerry

Yes I have a FZ10 and it seemed that a -2/3 exposure was correct for it all the time.

And I use spot focus and meter on the FZ20 also and think -1/3 is pretty good but have noticed that when using multi pattern metering it seems to need a +1/3 but I do not change it as I do not mind adjusting in photoshop. And I would rather be a little underexposed as its easier to fix.

I think it may have to do with where the metering takes place rather than what system I am using. Its just old habits are hard to break.
