I wish I had taken this, I saw this on AOL and had to share...truly awe inspiring. Wish i could capture something like this at least once in my lifetime.

G'day indiawala, it is a great image,but ithas been around for quite a while, I have been told it is an actual digital art thing, not a photo. Friends around storm photography seem to think so.

I am not sure but this photo was being submitted as part of a series of best photos of 2004 from the USA on AOL. How could they accept a fake as being among the top ten?

But on the other hand it does look too perfect and that gives it a fake look. All i know is that it looks cool, if this really is a true shot...then its truly amazing.

On the list of pros and cons, this is a con for going digital - you can't authenticate and provide verification of digital photos the way you can with a film negative! Still, small price to pay for the technology we've got available to us.
