i'm about to buy a fz3 and i'm concerned about taking care of the lens.
here in argentina, i can buy 52mm uv filters for a good price.
What kind of adaptor must i buy so i can use them on the fz3?
ifnot, what kind of adaptor and filter must i buy?

The fz3 comes with a threadedadapter suitable for attaching 55mm filters. A 55mm uv filter is all you will need.

That's a nice improvement! Sure wish the FZ1 had come with such a feature!

Your fz1 didn't come with an adapter?

I dont think you'll find the "lens hood adapter" on the list. They show the "lens hood unit" for 10.50 but it appears that the actual stock adapter is no longer available. Yoshida http://butabara-tec.com/still has aluminum alloy fz1/2 adapters; ~$50. Very well made. I recommend the model 295. It is 3mm shorter than the 155 (29.5mm vs 32.5mm) thus placing the add-on that much closer to the fz1/2 extended lens. Don't be put off by the disclaimer indicating there may be problems with lens interference. I have the 295 and I use it with many different filters/converters and have never had a problem with the camera lens being interfered with in any way.

For $15.73 at http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/epartr/put in the part no.

VYQ2583

I called National Parts Center at 800-833-9626to confirm if indeed they do have it in stock and it is. Also, $5.95 shipping plus state tax.

I believe the yoshida as fmoore states is your bestbet. I don't use paypal so I have done some modifying on the adapters I have for the FZ1v2.
