I have been comparing the Nikon 6T to the Cokin +3 and the Hoya +7. Some small 1 cm tent caterpillars voluntered their services and made some interesting photo subjects. They are constantly moving about and were difficult to keep in focus. The 6T seemed to be the easiest lens to use and the Hoya +7 the most difficult. I could not focus the Hoya +7 in macro mode at 12X zoom, but it worked fine in normal mode. The Nikon 6T was used on the FZ1v2 in macro mode while the Cokin +3 and Hoya +7 were used on my unmodified FZ1. The Cokin and Nikon both worked well and one plus for the Cokin is that I can change rapidly to other filters. The Nikon used a 55-62 stepup ring, the Cokin used a 55mm adapter ring and the Hoyas required a 55-52 stepdown ring.
Enjoy-Bobby
