Circuit City has a web special of $539 and I can pick it up at the store. Have to pay sales tax tho Can't wait to pick it up tonight and play around with it.

I just finished charged it and took a few sample pictures in total darkness in P mode just to see how it looked. I can't believe what Ive been missing these couple of years using my archaic 1.2mp Fuji with a lens size less than the diameter of a dime. Im so hooked now. Now to look around the house for stuff to take pictures of.

Oh just a quick note to all those wondering about the size of the camera. Its not that big at all, its just the lens that gives it its huge menacing look. My wife has very small hands and she can manage the camera for a few pics here and there.

Well I just went around the house taking random pics in P mode. This I think its my best one. This is Pumpkin, our present baby of the family (until the real baby comes in June :-))
