Hi everybody,

its a revelation in itself going through the high quality pictures on this website. I myself bought my first ever camera FZ20 a month ago partly based on the reviews in this forum. i must say its an amazing camera although i dont have any experience with digicams, or camera for that matter.

Here i post some of my very first shots in my attempt to learn good photography. most of these are not post processed except resizing and cropping.

Please do comment and advise on where and how i can improve.

regards,
Manish

I'm not an expert so my advice is take lots of pictures then take lots more. First effort looks good to me.

Well I see someone who seems to have a bit more knowledge then a real beginner. The pictures are good but need to be more interesting.

The flamingo photo is extremy good imho. Either you have a lot of experince with cameras so you know when to shoot or just have an amzing eye to spot the right place.
Would be nice to see the flamingos from further afield also ...but where do they end?
I have never seen one in real life... is this in the US?
