Hey suze, I believe it was you that advised me to shoot from different angles. I tend to shoot straight on, focusing right into the heart of the flower and while I still like the look...i agree that many other possibilities exist. Here is one from my trip to santa barbara last weekend. Hope you guys and gals like it

Nice seth. Good job even though I think you picked a tough subject - I find that this isa difficultshape of flower to shoot - orchids as well give me loads of aggro.Keep em coming:-)

Nice one Seth, unless you turn yourself inside out or upside down, a pretty difficult flower to photograph....more please

Nope - you didn't post this before seth- I would remember this one -It's even better than the first, sharper and the colours are truer. Impressive
