First time today I have been to one of the many parks in Singapore, called the Ang Mo Kio Park West . WOW! Never knew that it has so much 'jungle' there.....never picture it that way.....and now I know why so many nice insect pics can be taken there by fellow macro phototgraphers! And I only went to afew places there only!

Well, here are my first series of flies.....4 pics. Appreicate any critique.

This was next to a flower....small fella.

The first one is a very nice composition, the last three not, but they are pure libido owing to the magnification, colors and details.

Decert DOF at F8 with about 4,5+ (IF as I thing Sigma is about 1,5+).
Nice job with PP and NR, sharp pics as always, great use of the Sunpack, professional stuff in a few words.

Even the most awful creatures can become beautiful through your pics.

This is a snake I caught (only to take some pics)a few weeks ago.
No macro, but I'll soon take a 6T next weeks.

Wow, love the composition on the first shot. And the closeup on eyes and head is really cool on the 3rd, intesting stripes on the eyes.

Best regards,

Mag

You can find the details there. I got it for my Sigma 70-300mm APO lens during my SLR days. Its a +1.6 dioptre.

I wouldn't there approach a snake with the 6T :-)...I would only be 29cm away from it!

Thanks for the critique, appreicate it. and BTW, I am using the Panasonic FL28 for the flash.
