Your comments and critiques are always welcome. How else will I know if I'm on the right track.

Here's an extra one. I like it because of the light effect in the background.

I don't think you're on the right track. I believe you've already taken the right track to the end and set out to blaze new trails. Excellent shots!

PG, thank for your very kind words. The FZ20 is my first digital camera and I absolutely love it. No more having to wait for the prints to come back to see what I shot, its all here and now. I love the post processing part more than taking the pictures itself. That's the other half of the creating process.

You're definitely on the right track Hiroshi. I think the lightingis a bit uneven in a couple of them, but composition wise they're really great- keep em coming!

P.S. You have some very unique flowers there, have never seen a flower like the purple one before.

Hiroshi, the first two are fine but beware of the HL.
Very nice shooting but beware of lights balance 8espec. with spot mode metering -but you wher in multisegment there).

The 3rd id the best, also for the spiral like purple color flower. But maybe too much light in the Background.

The fourth has perhaps a bit too saturated petals and the last one, once again, too brighty Bckgr.

I agree with you about PP.
Only when I am back with more than 300 pics it becomes boring to even PP the best ones and to resize and quicly PP the less significant ones.
I should definitely take less shots, but they come one by one...
