Anyone considering going DSLR needs to be able to clean the Sensor, seems its not so big a deal, more like cleaning a lens Carefully !!!!!.

Some good threads in the canon DSLR forum, with many tips.
The Lumix sensors are well hidden inside so don't have that problem.

Glad we don;t have that problem ... what a pain in the butt. Glad our Nancy got a new D20 off them tho.

Harj

PS.

Those DSLR boys are a wee bit serious and uptight about dust on the old sensor.

Dust on the sensor? How does something like that happen? Never heard of such a thing on the Lumix.

Wonder what would happen if you were changing lenseson your Canon 20D (because you need a 12Xzoom to get the shot...) andhad a nasty cold, and gave a huge, obnoxious, "sloppy" sneeze - Blllaaaachooooooo!!! - that flings a thick gooey chunk of mucus and spray spit squareinto the Canon "CMOS" sensor, while you're changing lenses...

How would you clean that?

Steve?

Should I post this question on the Canon thread?
