You did not get the right one... as it is all rubber ( no metal clip) and it fits perfectly

This is one of those matters of personal choice. A lot of folks swear by it. But I tried the AE1 eyecup and it just wasn't for me. To begin with, the thing doesn't fit "snap tight" and it falls off frequently. For me that was a lot of unnecessary worry. The FZ20 EVF works fine just the way it is without an eyecup. I also found that the AE1 blocked access to the diopter correction wheel; it was a hassel to have to take off the eyecup to adjust the diopter, then re-attach it, then re-focus.......... For me, not worth the trouble.

But, if anyone wants to buy mine; it's like new!

(That's a heck of a sales pitch, huh???)

yes,I too bought one,,,very loose fit,,,when Olympus comes out with their 770 upgrade,,,my FZ20 will go visit ebay!
