Wow, awesome shots, these should be hanging up in a gallery!

Best regards,

Please thank your wife on behalf of all of us, for alerting you on time. I know you are very good at photography, I have admired many of your close-up shots. But these are simply fantastic. As already said, if you could only change the color of the flash through PP, this will make a very realistic gallery. Great job, congrats!

Great shots tchuanye. Love Strike One.

One question for you. How do you set the camera to infinity focus? Is it simply to switch from auto to manual focus and not touch the focus ring?? I have the FZ20.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Mate, from me that loves storm chasing and photography they are magnificent pics, of course with the manipulations makes a difference. the way you took these at F8, 8 sec and infinity is the only way it can be done, how did you find the time lapse betwwen each photo? Sorry I can't remember which camera you've got, which is why I'm asking, and memory card you use. When I did mine the time lapse was quite annoying, and missed quite a few.
The time lapse is as long as the time setting....and the frustrating part was that some of the more spectecular lightnings chose to appear during this time lapse! Memory card is the Lexar 256MB, fast write speed card. I am using FZ10

That was a bit not so straight forward. I set to A mode and to apeture to F2.8 so the EVF could gain up, and at AF I focused to the distant light, once that become in focus, I switch to MF, and back to M mode. I think that would work for Fz20 too.

Really good shots, the picts that have been posted lately on the forum recently has been seriously good. I'd love to try and take similar shots of a storm like yours but getiing a storm like that in the UK ... is just about as likely as having a sunny day!

Keep us posted dude!
