Hey all,

I am in my new place but still in the midwest. I went out with erkada, his wife and my room mate to the Kettle Moraine State Forest here in Southern Wisconsin this past weekend.

The day was great to be out and it actually hit 80 degrees. It is back to the 30's at night and the low 50's during the day.

All these pictures were taken with the FZ20 and using the Raynox 1540 pro teleconverter.

Overall, I like this lens. A bit soft in some pictures I took and others looked pretty sharp with all my settings on normal or standard.

The first picture I took is not great at all but what I captured is one huge tail of I believe a turtle.

This is a crop and resize using the 1540 pro and this was taken about 40 yards away.

Wow! I think I see turtle feet with claws where the umm, tail, joins the rest . . lol. Hard the tell the size since there is nothing to gain perspective by, but it sure looks huge to me and it sure looks like a turtle!

Aside from the monster turtle, the other pics look great - sharp and good colours. I like the one of the three people at the fence (but I think they were being shy and trying to ignore the camera )

Thanks suze,

The little turtle is about the size of your hand open wide.

The three on the fence did not know I was taking their picture. They were looking at the fish in the water.

They are my friends erkada, my room mate Darryl and erkada's (Dave) wife, Erika.
