Hi, I took these this morning...a tree in my back yard...and I like the way the light was hitting the moss. bentleysnmom

Like the first one. The backlighting makes the moss look like iceicles.

quite a back yard you have there! i like the first one best myself. the image seems just a little soft, though, and a bit undersaturated to my eye.i hope you don't mind, i tweaked it just a tad... a little more contrast and saturation, to bring up the colors just a little.

Thanks Squirrl,I appreciate your tweeking. I see what you mean. I guess I need some good software. What is easy for a newbie? All of this is so helpful inmy photography journey. Nooner, My husband always wanted to live on a golf course for as long as I can remember. After my treatments with my second cancer(ten years apart), we decided .....who knows what tomorrow would bring...so me moved into a house on a golf course in Florida. It was a battle but I thank God everyday for my life. bentleysmom

Love the first one, very dreamy feel to it. And you're absolutely right about life... if you wanna do something, just do it! Looks like a gorgeous place to live.

I agree with Squirrl about the PP. In addition, I think it would be a better shot if you could have backed up / ducked down, to get the pond? hidden behind the rise in the mid foreground. I find it distracting from the moss. Try again tomorrow, I think this fine weather is going to hold for a week! Tom:bye:
