Looks like a great subject but afraid the focus isn't there on this shot.Hope this is someplace close where you can go back and take a few more :-)

Looks like you shot it in auto mode. The camera chose f3.7, 1/4 sec, 200ISO. You would need a tripod for that shot, at least a monopod. You could try aperture priority f2.8, 400ISO and see what happens handheld. As it is the shot is pretty blurred. 2cents:arrow:

Go 400 iso and use tripod and turn off the OIS altogether. It is as the others said. Picking great subjects. Takes a bit to learn the camera. Keep shooting and use different settings to find out what this camera does best.

If he were using a tripod there would be no reason to go Iso 400. Use a tripod, go to the lowest ISO and a long exposer.
