Well the baby shower ended up in someones house. This pic is an example of how they all turned out. Besides the realization that I really need an external flash, what else could I have done to improve these pics?Thanks

that's realy not that bad of a print ..if you took that with the fz built in flash you can turn it up a bit by pressing the upper curser button..you can adjust the flash from low to high ..and take lots of pics ..get the external flash and bounce it off the ceiling ..take more pics

Yes its the built in flash. I used shutter priority 1/60, F2.8, and ISO 80 for all of them.

you migh try bumpingthe ISO up to 200, or setting it to 'auto', for shots like that. the FZ will generate a bit more noise than at ISO 80, but it's not as bad as some people make it out to be, andthe exposure will be much better!

Use P mode. You shot with shutter priority. With the internal flash let the camera figure it out. Like jazz said bump up the flash intensity. Crop your shot tighter. If the shots have meaning to you, post process.
