The FZ20 was built for the beach - nice pictures! I believe your first picture is of a shark/ray called a Tasmanian Numbfish

Nice shots. The first is a very unique subject so is of course fascinating. Your "rule of thirds" shot is also very good - would make a super poster cept the birds themselves are a bit soft:-)

rcci - Thanks. I'm very lucky to be so close to so many wonderful beaches.

nznhut - Thank you for the i.d. on the Numbfish. Looks very much like a ray so I assumed it was. Agreed - the FZ20 is such a great camera for bright daylight shots, (such a great camera full stop IMO).

suze - Unfortunatley I only discovered the soft birds when i got home and downloded the shots.
