Went for another stroll through the bush and managed to take a few photos. Unfortunately the spiders were out in force, huge things with webs that span between trees! Then I nearly stood on a bloody snake. Australia is a lovely place but the critters are all out to get you.

love the first one... the rocks in the foreground add interest, and the reflections are terrific. very scenic and tranquil. sounds like i wouldn't do so wellin Oz,though... i do NOT like spiders... especially great big suckers that string webs between trees!!

very, very nice Tree. It looks so "untouched".

Nice spot, well worth risking stings, bites and such.

Thanks for the comments guys. My WA lens should be on it way soon, I cant wait to try it out on scenes like these. While it is a nice place I will wait for it to cool down and the spiders to move out before I go bush again.
