If it's the same battery as the FZ1 etc. (BM7 type) you can pick up equivalents for around £10 - €14 on Ebay. Ibought an 800mAh one for my FZ1 and it works 100%

I agree, try ebay. Batteries here were CAD$99 + taxes, and nobody has them in stock. I bought onethrough ebay for US$16.80 (CAD$21) including shipping and exchange, no taxes or duty. Arrived from HongKong in 10 days.

And the battery was 850mAh vs 680 or so.

That's 1/5 the cost for a battery with 25% more capacity. Great deal!!

On Ebay you can buy 2 for a total of $18, with $12 shipping.
That works out to $15 each, delivered to you door...
