I've been reading the posts and seeing some pretty amazing macro images. From what I've read, a lot of you are using a Nikon 6t. This comes in a 66mm size. To fit my FZ20 I would need a 67-72mm step up ring. Is this correct? Would I need any other accessories? What is the approximate price of a 6t?

The 6t has 62mm threads. Thus, you will need a 72-62mm step downring. This is not the best arrangement. The fz20 adapter puts the macro lens about 20mm in front of the fz20 extended lens. Ideally, you want that distance to be as close possible. There are a few 3rd party adapters that accomplish that and they have 62mm threads. IMO, the 52mm raynox rt5264p adapter (~$20) and the 52mm nikon 4t (~$40 - and its the same lens as the 6t only with a smaller thread diameter) will do the job as well as any.
