Hi Hazz, actually you're almost right. Suze's duck's name is Chester, the duck I shot (bad choice of words) is his twin brother Earvin with his wife Daisy. Earvin is the adventurous one and decided to seek his fortune in America. He met Daisy at the marina and it was:love:at first sight.:lol:

Hiroshi,

I did not get to see this but looked for it due to a comment on another thread.

I would like to comment that these are great shots of detail and color.

The poses that these ducks did for you makes me jealous or is it that they are camera shy.

Keep posting the :|

Yes, they were very camera shy. When I first approached them they were sound asleep as soon as I started taking pictures they immediately opened their eyes. The click of the shutter was enough to startle them. I got lucky with these shots because in the next moment they took off.

As I frequent the local pond a lot, I have turned the sounds off altogether on my FZ20 to avoid this type of situation. More often though, it happens with birds in trees.

By the way, such a sweet story . . I hope Daisy and Earvin live happily ever after. Chest will come and visit once the little ones arrive

After this I've done the same thing. I've noticed that even with the sound off the camera still has an audible, be it soft click when the shutter button is pressed. Is this normal?
