here is the reptile ("ramarro" its Italian name).

Spot focus and 12x zoom (it was at c. 1,5-2 m from me in a bush with many branches and grass before the face...). Thanks Pana for the spot focus (300D does not have it)

What do you mean, Wise?

Too sharpened or that's about the color?

The original color has the FZ20 yellow cast:
So I adjusted the curves and the result is the one above (the resized unlevelled one below)
