after seeing Fmoore's excellent shots, i had to try it myself... this is a "white" one, not pink, but who's to quibble over details? :G

More nice shots, squirl. This a great time of the year for blossoming trees. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of devine weather here on the Right Coast, the sun has gone out of the sky and we're in for some steady rain (much needed by all but the most recent flood victims).

thanks for the comments, guys... settings were f4 @ 1/320, ISO 80,110mm equivalent. second shot taken with close-up lens.
