Just 2m away from the stick insect I took (see other post) was this buttefly....which was quite cooperative and allowed me to take it.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, F8, ISO 50, ExposureTime : 1/60Sec, hand held.

Comments are appreciated.....thanks!

My favourite are the first two.

Great colors, sharpness and detail in all of them.

One question: how do you use theNR program/plugin in non-background areas of the pictures?

Narmer

The composition in #1 is great. Very nice shot.

I saw a butterfly yesterday and spent the better part of 10 minutes chasing the little blighter around but he wouldn't hold still for a photo

Narmer, I use Neatimage, and I just use the background for the autoprofile, and run the software. The whole image would turn out as shown. Not sure if I have answered your question.....
