A nice little house on a hill (Hearst Castle). Took the picture out a bus window as we were driving up to it for a tour. The drive fron Hwy 001 is 5 miles.

first one is gorgeous... lovely scenery, and nicely saturated. softer focus gives it kind ofa misty, dreamlike quality.

third shot... are you sure they're napping? they look dead, especially the one with his nose in the water!

Thanks! Yes they are alive, they are just resting. There were hundreds of them on the beach. This picture (I think) shows a couple of young ones practicing the fighting they do for the right to mate. There were no big bulls there fighting that day.

Thanks Boyzo, The picture taken was south of Monterey and was most likely in Monterey County. The Seals were near San Simeon which is in San Luis Obispo county. But all of that coastline is beautiful. Oh,It is Hearst Castle and it is unbelievable. Anyone that gets the chance should take a tour of the place.
