Hi everybody.
Here are some pictures I took of my roommates car earlier this evening. I would really like to hear your opinion about them. It's the first time I have "portraied" a car but I am quite satisfied with the result.

The first picture is a tough foreground shot because you are shooting directly into the sun and it underexposes your subject and loses its color. I think the shot would look kinda neat with out the car, though. Especially since it looks like the lighthouse has a Tower of Pisa cant to it.

I like the first one. Nice composition, but the car is underexposed because of the backlighting. If you have Photoshop, you may want to tryeither 1) Select the bottom half the picture, feather the selection, and play with the levels to lighten it up, or select the car with the magic wand and play with the levels.
