This guy was rescued at a young age from wing injuries on electric wires .

As a newcomer to this site, who is still waiting on her camera to arrive, I do not post much, but the eagle pictures are wonderful. The first picture is beautiful, as are all of them, but the last two make me feel as if I am in his presence. So incredibly life-like.

#1 and #3 are my favorites. The colors are beautifully saturated and the pictures are very nicely composed.

I agree with you about the eagle being free. Maybe it's only my imagination, but there seems to be a look of sadness in his eyes.
