Why Panasonic doesn't launch a new firmware, to upgrade some features (example:noise at 400 iso), fix problems, etc

It's a very complicated story involving yens and yangs. Yet to be resolved.

Hints:

1) Let your yen go and stretch your yang.
2) Where your yen goes your yang will follow.

Cause they are still a little dog when it comes to the photography marketplace.

Think about it....

They are part of the Matsushita conglomerate, one of the largest, most successful, consumer merchandising organizations in the world. In the video imaging industry they are one of the top two manufacturers of professional gear. I suspect the "Lumix" group has a corporate culture strongly influenced by the success of the pro video division and others. They are no doubt run by bean counters and if it has been successful to this point, why change?
