I hope i am not offending anyone out there but I saw this little bugger last night weaving a web over my bed and for the first time decided to see if I could do a decent job of capturing it. He was really busy and kept going back and forth so the first 2 shots are live...then it was time for him to get knocked out. The last couple of shots are him in lala land, posing for me unconciously...lol.

I have no idea how you guys get those amazing macros...i had such a hard time. I couldn't really use the bounce flash cause it was a small room and everything kept getting blown up. So this is with just my halogen lamp.

Any comments/critiques are welcome (this is my first attempt at an insect macro)

(all shots have been cropped, thats it)

Shocking...
The things people do for a shot.
Sad, and yet funny at the same time:lol:

Shoot bigger spiders. Then you don't need to get so close.

If anyone can tell me who this guy is, I'd love to know. I found him in the basement, but I let him loose in the front yard. He's still there, as far as I know.
