Nice shot of the male Rufous. I think one reason the FZ10-20 cameras work so well for shooting birds is because the spot focus works so well.

Now that the hummingbirds have returned, I've been using my Panasonic teleconverter much more. While overly expensive, it's a fine hunk of glass. It is useful for capturing subjects in situations where they cannot be approached closely.

Here's a male Broad-tailed I snapped at about 50 feet, hand held.
