I went to Atlanta this weekend and tried to take some flower shots....The weather wasn't the greatest....sun going in and out of the clouds.....it's very frustrating when you are just learning. I've used a little picassa inpp of thispicture.....Please comment so as to help me help learn...... Thanks, bentleysmom

Looks like you're getting it, bmom. Nice colors. I wouldn't zoom in so much.Too much flower. Get a little more detail in the background. The depth of field is too shallow.

I think thats not a bad piccy. You might want to try moving the camera a little. Rather than being parralell with the flower, take some shots from a bit of an angle.

I think I'd be relativly pleased with that after just 3 weeks though.

If Suze is about, she's the one to ask for advice of Flower pics! - have a look at a few of her posts for ideas.
