Well, I ordered one about 15 minutes before this quoted post, so I hope I beat the rush :blah: and I hope it is on the up and up. Let you know on Wednesday as I shipped two-day Airborne. Been wanting one for quite awhile for IR. Should complement my Z10 well, don't 'cha know.

I ordered one as well, thanks for the info! I hope everything goes well. It appears that they have the black instead of the silver version right?

I agree with Nick,

My favorite to take first and go out and shoot whatever. The colors on it seem to be more accurate than the FZ20 so PP is minimal.

IR, is well, the deal breaker. I have one just dedicated to IR only. The other I just tool around and have fun especailly for candids.

OK, assuming the camera actually gets shipped to me, I have the 62 mm adapter for my FZ10, soI could use it on the FZ1 ? And I'dneed that size IR filter, right? Any suggestions? (sorry, I know I should just look through the archives, but well, it's the weekend and my wife is riding her broom. I'm praying I don't get caught a) buying a new toy and b) taking time off from my 'chores' If I do, my 'self portrait may end up looking a lot like some of thetoad pics previously posted :G

The FZ 1 takes a completely different adapter and filter size than the FZ 10. Here's something to read while you wait.

I was afraid of that. Unfortunately right now I cannot view the document at the URL listed. I think I still have some 'misplaced' files on my computer.

The FZ1 use 55mm fliters and you can use the stock adapter or they're aftermarket ones. Try these links.
