Hi,

Thanks! But it wasn't quite what I had in mind.

Wondering if it would be possible to meter a scene and use that metering for all other scenes?

If I want to do this, I just take a meter reading (in whichever mode suitable, such as P) on the required scene - take note of the aperture and shutter setting, set these on the M setting and shoot away...

Probably better to do it in Program Modeand then play with the Program Shift to make sure you have the DOF that you desire.
