Ive been fiddling with gadgets for my camera , came up with this hood wich is sleek and pretty effective plus cheap . Using Electrical Conduit 3 inch to 4 inch adapter at Home Depot

Isanded it with 1000 grit sandpaper or emery cloth , painted several light coats(let it tack dry between coats) using flat back bumper paint found at o'riellys , Untill i reached a deep black .Using the original adapter tube that came with the camera , simply slide the tube in from the front and push it in till snug .It will actually push all the way through withsome force if you wanted to change the depth. It fits and works very well actually :G

give it a try , the key to it "electricalconduit "much thinner than plumbing PVC but rigid and strong .It may even come in black but all they had was white .

With all the toying i did with other alternatives this is by far the best

at a cost of $6.00
